The head of state traveled to meet with defense personnel in the eastern front on Tuesday. The president confirmed that he consulted fighters at the command post of the initial brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine Azov, which is leading defense efforts in the Dobropillya sector, a town approximately a short distance from Pokrovsk.
Recent mapping from a national effort indicated that invading troops had pushed further into Pokrovsk and nearby locations, though significant areas was not fully held by both forces. The national leader urged the US to remain open to supplying Kyiv with far-reaching military equipment. Appealing to European leaders from the eastern front, the head of state also called for more international restrictions on the nation – including on the energy and atomic industries – and said he sought accession to the union before 2030.
