The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice world title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
As the two fighters met for the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
