Newly reappointed manager the Ireland coach has included captain Doris in his Irish squad for the fall matches, however Joe McCarthy misses out.
Doris, who has not played since having shoulder surgery in the start of May, recently returned to provincial training, though his fitness is uncertain whether he will be ready to play against New Zealand in the US on 1 November.
Second row Joe McCarthy, however, did not make the cut after failing to recover from the foot injury he sustained during the first Lions match against the Wallabies in July.
Ulster forward Cormac Izuchukwu and Munster wing Calvin Nash are also absent due to injury, while number 15 Hugo Keenan had already been ruled out after having hip surgery after the Lions tour.
Leinster forward Paddy McCarthy - the brother of Joe - is the sole uncapped member in the 34-player squad, but the Irish Rugby Football Union states new provincial duo Edwin Edogbo and Brian Gleeson and once-capped western province winger Bolton will head to the US as "cover".
Following facing the New Zealand at Soldier Field in a rematch of their 2016 encounter, Ireland host the Brave Blossoms, the Wallabies and world champions South Africa in Dublin.
"There's an exciting look to the squad and there's an opportunity for the veteran players and for the newcomers on the summer tour to Georgia and Portugal," commented Farrell, back to national team duties after taking a sabbatical to coach the British and Irish Lions to Australia.
In a mostly familiar-looking selection, Leinster's Sam Prendergast and Munster's Crowley will once again vie for the starting number 10 spot. The fly-half role is remains up for grabs, as Prendergast and Crowley set to face off for the first occasion in the upcoming United Rugby Championship match at Croke Park.
Ciaran Frawley is the additional fly-half chosen with the coach opting against selecting the province's Harry Byrne.
At number 9, Farrell has selected British and Irish Lion Gibson-Park and Casey, who captained the national side to the summer Test victories over the Lelos and Portugal. Additionally, there is a return for Connacht's Blade, who is preferred to club-mate Ben Murphy.
Henshaw, Aki, Ringrose and McCloskey form an veteran cohort of midfield choices. Jamie Osborne is a further choice in the midfield, but the 23-year-old is also a frontrunner to cover for Keenan at number 15.
Outside backs Lowe, Mack Hansen, Tommy O'Brien and Stockdale are included. O'Brien impressed on his national team debut over the summer with a brace each in the victories over the Lelos and Portugal.
Paddy McCarthy is the only fresh addition in the Ireland forwards. The front rower has been in two of his province's three United Rugby Championship matches so far and played in the second string's loss by the English in Bristol previously.
McCarthy was included in interim boss O'Connell's summer selection, but did not receive a international appearance.
Munster second row Thomas Ahern, who earned his first two caps in those Tests, is retained, and experienced Northern province lock Iain Henderson returns after missing the summer tour.
Jack Conan, who started all three Lions Tests during the tour, is poised to deputise for Doris if the captain fails to recover full fitness soon enough to face the All Blacks.
The Ireland squad will assemble in Dublin on Monday before traveling to Chicago on the following day.
