Data further found that young adults were more inclined to consider a vacation as "important for their mental health".

A significant ninety percent of these individuals held this opinion, relative to the average across all ages response.

Environmental Concerns

Younger tourists were also more inclined to pick a brand, lodging, or destination based on its environmental commitments.

Approximately one in five of millennials prioritized environmental factors, compared to one in ten generally.

The issues with too many visitors in Spain and other locations were blamed on "illegal rentals" rather than major companies.

This included calls for officials to regulate cases where property managers lack a required authorization, safety checks, or tax payments.
